MAKING LIFE MORE AFFORDABLE
Justin knows that all of us – from single workers to growing families to retired seniors – are finding it harder to get by. That’s why he will work to make life a little easier by doing the things that save us money.
He’ll bring common-sense fiscal discipline to the budget to make it focus on our priorities, especially education, public safety, and job creation. Then he’ll fight for smart policies that help reduce energy costs for consumers, combat rising housing and rent costs, and ease the burden of property taxes.
Improving the Healthcare System
Justin shares our concerns over the rising cost of healthcare and, as hospital closings in neighboring communities show, a loss of healthcare access and availability.
To combat these challenges, Justin will support a comprehensive approach that harnesses new technologies, helps hospitals and doctors stay in PA, and stands up to big insurance companies by increasing competition and customization.
Strengthening Education
Attracting Good Jobs
As a small business owner and father, Justin wants the same thing as all of us: to achieve financial security for his family – and he knows that good-paying jobs are the key.
To keep and attract jobs to our community, he’ll focus on harnessing all of Pennsylvania’s resources – energy sources, institutions of higher learning and research, skilled trades, fantastic communities, and more – to make our state where employers know they need to be.
Then Justin will work to make Pennsylvania a more inviting place for employers by bringing our tax and regulatory systems in-line with the other states we’re competing with to attract jobs. He will also support a long-needed minimum wage increase to more accurately reflect today’s cost-of-living.
Keeping Communities & Families Safe
Justin believes we’re all lucky to live in an area where residents feel safe in their homes, schools, or out-and-about.
By bringing residents together with police, fire fighters, EMTs, and emergency preparedness experts – and fighting to provide the resources and training they need – Justin will make sure that our community stays safe for all of us.
Preserving Our Natural Heritage
Our area of Pennsylvania is one of the most beautiful in the state, with rolling farmland, natural waterways, and preserved open spaces. That’s one reason so many of us moved here, including Justin.
To ensure our natural heritage remains strong and preserved for future generations, Justin will work for solutions that continue successful programs like Growing Greener, improve our ability to protect air and water quality, and ensure development is smartly controlled.
Ending the Political Games & Partisanship
Justin is just as tired as the rest of us when it comes to the politicians trying to score political points instead of working together to accomplish positive results… trying to “win for their side” instead of win for us.
In Harrisburg, Justin will stand-up to the political bosses and special interests on both sides of the aisle to doggedly pursue common ground solutions to the common issues we face. Why?
